Evan Wolfson is founder and Executive Director of Freedom to Marry. Recognizing his longtime civil rights leadership in the movement for marriage equality, in 2004 TIME magazine named Evan one of the "100 most influential people in the world." Evan was co-counsel in the historic Hawaii marriage case, argued before the U.S. Supreme Court in Boy Scouts of America v. Dale, served in the Peace Corps in West Africa, and is the author of Why Marriage Matters: America, Equality and Gay People's Right to Marry.

Scott Davenport | Managing Director
Scott's background is both as a corporate executive and as an activist for LGBT rights. Scott served as a Vice President for Oliver Wyman Consulting assisting Fortune 500 companies enhance their strategic direction. He also has worked for Capital One as Managing Vice President, Human Resources. At Capital One, he led the creation of its Enterprise Risk Management program. Scott is the father of two teenage children and has served as Co-Chair of the Board of the Family Equality Council. He is the co-founder of Family Week in Provincetown, MA., and currently is the Board President for Equality Maryland. [continues»]

Megan KinningerMegan Kinninger | Program Manager
Megan Kinninger is the Program Manager for Freedom to Marry. She relocated to New York to join Freedom to Marry following her work as a researcher for the victorious campaign to elect U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar from Minnesota. Prior to working the 2006 election cycle, Megan was a research analyst at Evans McDonough Company, a public opinion research and consulting firm in Oakland, California. [continues»]

Richard LedesmaRichard Ledesma | Office Manager
Richard Ledesma is the Office Manager for Freedom to Marry. Richard's background is primarily in operations and project management but has also included sales and marketing over the past 10 years. Fluent in both Spanish and English and a proud member of the Hispanic community, he has worked in the Public Relations, Marketing, Real Estate and Hospitality Industries; where he has enjoyed working most of his career in small, entrepreneurial businesses.
